Certified Fire Door Inspections
Life Safety Consortium LLC can inspect your fire doors and provide you a report showing you what needs to be repaired to meet required NFPA 80 standards. LSC Maintenance Programs
LSC offers several types of maintenance programs for your facility to utilize, and each has their own benefits. Here LSC is highlighting just three of our most requested maintenance programs. All our programs can be customized to your facility’s needs and budgets. These programs are generally a monthly fee-based program spaced out at different integrals. All these plans have additional consulting hours built into them.
First, the LSA Maintenance Program. This wrap around service includes three LSA surveys and reports done on an annual basis for a three-year period. We provide periodic options such as quarterly, semiannual, or annual updates to your life safety plans, depending on your needs.
Second, the Drawing Maintenance Program. LSC will update types of drawing plans depending on the agreement. These drawings are updated on either a quarterly, semiannual, or annual updates to ensure up to date drawings and compliance.
Finally, there is our Smoke & Fire Door Inspection program. LSC will survey the rated doors, update door plans, and provide a deficiency report on a yearly basis for a set number of years.

Suite Usage/Review
A suite - what is it? Think of it as a group of connected rooms being treated as one big room with an envelope wall boundary. There are many benefits to implementing suites in a health care facility. With the proper application, benefits include a reduction in requirements for corridor storage and door hardware which is a major benefit to your facility that reduces your maintenance budget. There are many nuances for applying suites under the 2012 Edition of the Life Safety Code®. It is as simple as understanding the requirements for suites. Door Inspections
Smoke & Fire Door Inspections are required annually.
